Feedback is made up of comments and ratings left by other Biker Bids members you have bought from and/or sold to. These comments and ratings are valuable indicators of your reputation as a buyer and/or seller on Biker Bids and are included, along with an overall feedback score, in each members profile.
Feedback Forum
You may display your feedback from eBay, Yahoo, Amazon, Overstock and Ebid. Simply login to your Members area, Click on the Feedback icon and follow the directions.
Please note that any seller featuring imported feedback in their listings has gone through any approval process to confirm that the feedback posted is theirs.
When to Check Feedback
Bidders can check a seller's feedback score prior to bidding by clicking on the number next to the Sellers ID. Sellers may also want to view the feedback of bidders to see how reliable they have been in past transactions.
At Biker Bids you are allowed to edit the wording and the rating of feedback you have left. You can also posts comments to each feedback received.
When To Leave Feedback
Always leave feedback after a transaction so that other members may benefit from your experience.
Some Bidders feel that sellers should leave feedback immediately upon receiving payment, as the buyer has completed their end of the transaction. Many sellers practice this method. Others sellers feel that a transaction is not complete until the buyer receives the item and leaves feedback or sends an email, ensuring everything is to the buyers satisfaction.
Members should leave a negative or neutral comment only after all communication has been exhausted with no satisfactory outcome. The Dispute Resolution Service may also be utilized.
Mutual Feedback Withdrawal
Members may withdraw negative feedback if a disagreement has been resolved. This process is called Mutual Feedback Withdrawal.
Both members will have their feedback scores adjusted at the same time. Depending on the type of feedback being withdrawn, each members score could increase, decrease or remain the same.
Note: Biker Bids will add a note to the feedback comment, stating that the feedback was mutually withdrawn.
Feedback Abuse and Removal
Feedback that meets any of the circumstances below is feedback abuse and may be subject to removal. Feedback that doesn't meet any of the reasons outlined below will not be removed:
- *Investigated Feedback: Feedback that is deemed removable after a complete investigation by our Investigations team. Please report feedback for investigation to customersupport@bikerbids.com.
- The feedback comment contains personal identifying information about another member, including real name, address, phone number, or e-mail address.
- The feedback comment contains links or scripts.
- Feedback left by a user who bid on or purchased an item solely to have the opportunity to leave negative feedback for the seller, with no intention of completing the transaction.
- The feedback comment contains profane, vulgar, obscene, or racist language or adult material, will be removed. But, Inflammatory language, such as "fraud, liar, cheater, scam artist, con man" etc. is strongly discouraged but will not be removed.
- The feedback makes reference to any Biker Bids or law enforcement organization investigation.
- Negative feedback intended for another user will be considered for removal only in situations where the user responsible for the mistaken posting informs Biker Bids of the error and has already placed the same feedback for the correct member.
*Some examples of "Investigated Feedback" that will be removed:
Retaliatory Feedback-You have left negative feedback for a Non-Paying Buyer after a Dispute Resolution that resulted in the Non-Paying Buyer receiving a strike. If they retaliate, that feedback will be removed.
Nonsense Feedback-"I can't figure out how to pay you", "I mailed check on 6/12 today is 6/14 where is my item", or sometimes they leave positive comments but choose the negative option: "Excellent item, very pleased" but left as a negative.
